Charlene McCreery

Charlene McCreery, age 75, of South Bend, passed away on February 6, 2026. Charlene was born on August 31, 1950. On September 17, 1966, Charlene was united in marriage to Steven McCreery, with whom she shared many years of love and life together. Charlene enjoyed camping, crocheting, riding on the motorcycle, spending time with her beloved animals, and most of all, sharing life with her loving husband and family.

Charlene is survived by her children: Steve (Lynn), Tim McCreery, and Julie McCreery. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Steven, Timothy (Simone), Kyle, Jack (Brianna), Eric (Tiffany), Andrew (Alyssa), Shayna (Dakota), Savanna (Riley), Joy, and Malakai; and by her great-grandchildren: Autumn, Tristan, Eliana, Zarek, Annalynn, Azalea, Westin, Faith, Hope, Gracie, Addlenna, Gabi, Cortez, Sicaria, Sekani, Octavio, Athena, Luna, and Ryder. As well as many nieces and nephews, whom she loved.  

Charlene is survived by her sisters, Norma (Bill) Rogers and Shirley (Bruce) Christman, her twin. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Steven McCreery; her mother, Opal Paczesny; her son, Andrew McCreery; her grandson, Daniel; and her sister, Mary Ann. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Charlene will be deeply missed and forever loved.
